Lana Del Rey – “Blue Jeans ft. Azealia Banks (Smims&Belle Extended Remix)”

by bspener

So, Lana Del Rey may be becoming less of a thing every day, but Azealia Banks still seems to be on the rise. Maybe these two 2012 it-girls can garner some extra hype with this new track, a remix of Del Rey’s “Blue Jeans” by the folks from Foster the People. Azealia’s verse on the track is good, but the remix doesn’t particularly retain the character of the original song, which is decidedly not rap and not electro—but what did we expect. Like it or not, it’s still a bit cool to see two—three if you count Foster the People—unrelated artists releasing music together not as part of a Converse Ad
